Clare Evans is a published author of speculative fiction with an extraordinary literary lineage.

Fun Fact: Clare is a direct descendant of John Shelley, brother of the legendary Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, and she is also connected by marriage to the iconic Mary Shelley, the brilliant mind behind Frankenstein.

While Clare has built a successful career in IT, marketing and management, and raised a family, her true passion for writing has always burned brightly in the background.

Her diverse life experiences, including years of volunteering with the Samaritans, have profoundly deepened her insight into human nature, a quality that resonates powerfully in her storytelling.

Clare proudly holds a Distinction from the MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.
